Job summary

The post holder will work in conjunction with the leadership teams across the Chief Nurses Office to deliver effective services and support the Deputy Chief Nurses and wider leadership teams in all service within the CNO. This post is supported by a team of administrators across the Chief Nurses Offices and wider portfolio teams. The post holder will be expected to support the Deputy Chief Nurses with general admin and PA support, and the management of diaries.

The post holder will co-ordinate between the various services under the CNO, including (but not limited to) Patient Experience, Digital, Nursing Education & Workforce, Quality Governance, Patient Safety, Vulnerabilities and Infection Control.

The post holder will play a key role in exploiting data within CNO portfolio and provide data analysis, interpretation, and presentation including the development of relevant datasets to appropriately reflect the information needs of the CNO teams and their initiatives. They will use enhanced technical skills to model data enabling the development of clinical and corporate reporting dashboards, to present data as business information that will assist managers and the wider CNO/corporate teams in making strategic decisions and help managers to manage their services effectively based on the activity recorded in the Trust's clinical and non-clinical based systems.

Main duties of the job

  • Support DCNs and CNO office in improving performance in key areas and achieving quality clinical services in line with the Trust's service strategy
  • Co-ordinate and organise the CNO office establishing policies and procedures, as well as the recording of information and reporting structures for information coming into and out of the office;
  • Play a key role in exploiting data within CNO portfolio and to enhance the data analysis, interpretation, and presentation skills in the Corporate Team
  • Using enhanced technical skills to model data enabling the development of clinical and corporate reporting dashboards
  • Lead on the annual meeting reporting for all CNO attributed Boards and Committees and coordinate all CNO committees to ensure papers, action trackers and minutes are timely
  • Lead and co-ordinate the Quality assurance Visits with engagement with executive PAs,
  • Ability to respond quickly to urgent requirements and resolve problems in a logical manner.
  • Lead for the CNO on data analytics, and the interpretations and presentation of data sets appropriate to the services. Working closely with all teams including the trusts Business intelligence unit.
