Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the Trauma and Orthopaedic Team at Kings College Hospital. We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic candidate with relevant experience and interest in Trauma and Orthopaedics, to join a Team of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Therapy assistants working across inpatients and will involve working closely as part of an MDT.

The successful candidate will have a broad knowledge of pathologies associated with Trauma and Orthopaedic surgery, pre and post operative care. They will be able to demonstrate excellent clinical reasoning, knowledge of service development and supervision of junior staff and students.

Main duties of the job

You will be working across the inpatient Trauma and Orthopaedic wards You will be expected to carry your own caseload of patients and provide assessment and treatment for pre and post operative patients.

You will be working with patients of varying ages and social and economic backgrounds, so will need to use a variety of communication skills and techniques to help you build rapport with your patients.
