Job summary
We are seeking a proactive and analytical Business Analyst to join our dynamic team at King's College Hospital. In this pivotal role, you will support decision-making and drive improvements across the Trust by analyzing data, processes and requirements, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights. Working closely with stakeholders within the ICT team and across the trust, you will ensure that processes, systems, and services are aligned with our strategic goals of delivering world-class healthcare.
Main duties of the job
o Gather, analyse and document requirements from trust staff or ICT teams, in order to design robust ICT solutions and deliver smooth roll-out
o Effectively communicate requirements to various technology teams, ensuring alignment and successful implementation of solutions.
o Assess the impact of any design decisions and communicate and escalate accordingly.
o Prepare software test scripts which will be based on requirements and business processes.
o Execute test scripts and maintain testing documentation.
o Contribute to the design and configuration of existing functionality to meet user-requirements.
o Contribute to project and implementation plans
Support the transition of solutions into production state by generating user training documents
o Promote the use and development of ICT systems and solutions among the clinical community within the Trust.
o In liaison with medical colleagues and other healthcare professionals, identify opportunities where ICT can support the clinical process.
Research and understand NHS standards and statutory national requirements relevant to specific projects.
Develop strong working relationships with Trust staff and foster collaboration among diverse stakeholder groups.
Identify and effective working practices and professional standards within the ICT department.
