Job summary

The post holder will form a key position within the Fire Safety Team and will have responsibility for the day to day fire safety management across the King's sites.

As part of a team, the post holder will be expected to work closely with their colleagues and work alongside all sub-divisions of CEF. Although based mainly at the PRUH, Orpington, Denmark Hill (TBC) the post holder will be required to work at other sites within the Trust.

Main duties of the job

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Carry out FRA's across all sites in the Trust

  • Delivery of all forms of fire training across all sites in the Trust
  • To assist in delivering a quarterly fire safety committee and terms of reference
  • To give advice on complex fire safety arrangements for all new projects across the estate
  • To provide fire prevention advice and specialist fire advice on a day to day basis
  • To keep the fire safety documentation database up to date and current
