Job summary
King's College Hospital Trust is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Clinical Fellow to join our Intra-Operative Monitoring team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing essential monitoring services during surgeries to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
The post holder will work closely with the lead Consultant for intra-operative monitoring service, working closely with the lead to ensure there is a high quality IOM service provided to the neurosurgery team at King's College Hospital.
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform intra-operative neurophysiological monitoring during surgeries.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical staff to provide real-time data and feedback.
- Interpret and analyze neurophysiological data to ensure accurate monitoring and patient safety.
- Assist in developing and implementing monitoring protocols and procedures.
- Participate in training and mentoring junior staff and trainees.
- Engage in continuous professional development and stay updated with the latest advancements in intra-operative monitoring.
