Senior Clinical Fellow in Clinical Radiology

King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust

The closing date is 09 May 2024

Job summary

There has been recent investment in the Department of Clinical Radiology at the Princess Royal University Hospital (PRUH). We are seeking to recruit two Senior Clinical fellows in Clinical Radiology for 1 year fixed term posts to join our team based at PRUH. The two available posts are aimed at hardworking and determined radiologists who are GMC registered, post FRCR or equivalent. PRUH radiology is a consultant led department providing training for King's College Hospital Radiology trainees. This would also be a great opportunity for post CCT trainees to bridge the gap between training and a consultant post within a supportive environment. The department has an excellent record of success in CESR applications for specialist registration.

The department offers a broad range of sub-specialist opportunities in radiology such as neuroradiology and head and neck, gastrointestinal, cardiothoracic and acute radiology with further specialist areas available.

The successful candidates will join a flexible and enthusiastic team of radiologists. There is established role extension within the department with training taking place for reporting radiographers (including within fluoroscopy), and the post holder will be actively involved in supporting this initiative.
