Job summary

Applications are invited for this 10PA substantive full time post in Cardiothoracic imaging based in the Department of Radiology at King's College Hospital. This is a replacement post and the successful applicant will join a dedicated cardiothoracic imaging team comprising a total of 4 consultants with interests in multimodality thoracic and cardiac imaging. The team supports multiple clinical services in this large teaching hospital. The Trust is recognised internationally for its work in liver disease and transplantation, haemato-oncology, cardiac, neurosciences, stroke, fetal medicine and major trauma. King's is also part of one of the country's foremost Academic Health Science Centres, King's Health partners. KHP is one of six Department of Health designated AHSCs in England. It brings together a world leading research led university, King's College London, with three successful NHS Foundation Trusts: King's College Hospital, Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital and South London and Maudsley. Due to the overlap in thoracic imaging for this post, a specialist interest in the thoracic aspects of haemato-oncology care would be an advantage to the post holder.
