The Alcohol and Drug Care Team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust are looking to recruit a RGN or RMN to work in the team based at Denmark Hill.
We are a small team but passionate about the care that patients with addictions have when they come into hospital and if this is something you want to be involved in, we would love to hear from you.
The team covers both Denmark Hill and Princess Royal University Hospital sites. While team members will be based primarily at one site there is an expectation that you will work across sites on occasion as we operate as one service. We have a permanent position at Denmark Hill.
Main duties of the job
Some experience working with patients with addictions is required but this can be from lots of settings. We currently have nurses and clinicians with a background in acute medicine, A&E, community addictions, liver and mental health in the team. More in-depth training will be provided on the job.
We don't expect you to be experts in addictions but please make sure to show how you have interest and applicable experience in whatever setting that may be.
The team operate 8am - 6pm, Monday to Friday and 8am - 4pm, Saturday and Sunday so some evening and weekend work will be required.
For informal visits (either virtual or in person) please contact joshua.stapleton@nhs.net
