Job summary

King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in South East London is a large teaching hospital and is at the forefront of academic and nursing excellence. The Emergency Department (ED) is one of the busiest in London, and sees approximately 140,000 patients per year including children. We have dedicated facilities for children open 24 hours a day and staffed by specialist children's nurses. In our modern, well-equipped department our friendly and talented team deliver high quality emergency care to patients presenting with a broad spectrum of conditions. There is also the opportunity for qualified staff to access our onsite Practice Development Nurses and Resuscitation Officers who offer ongoing support in terms of professional growth and development.

Main duties of the job

We are seeking to recruit Emergency Department Technician's to join the dedicated ED team at King's. We provide care to patients from a diverse inner-city population and believe that the diversity of the local population is reflected in our staff and our recruitment strategy.
