Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Subspecialty Trainee in Urogynaecology to join Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
Applications are invited for this post, which is designed to allow an interested post-MRCOG doctor to become a Subspecialist in Urogynaecology. Supervision will be undertaken by Professor Linda Cardozo, Mr Dudley Robinson and Miss Sushma Srikrishna. The exact timetable will depend upon the requirements of the successful applicant, but he/ she will need to spend a minimum of two years in the post depending upon requirements for the completion of structured training and then CCT, together with Subspecialty Accreditation.
Main duties of the job
The Subspecialty Trainee would be expected to join in with the current Research Fellows in providing a secondary and tertiary service for women attending King's with disorders of the lower urinary tract and pelvic floor. He/ She would be expected to teach nurses and midwives, as well as undergraduate medical students and postgraduate doctors. There would be time for research and the successful applicant would be encouraged to work towards a higher degree. The programme would follow the specifications laid down by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists for Subspecialty Training in Urogynaecolog
