The appointee must have (or be eligible for) GMC registration and prior haematology experience or higher specialist training in haematology is desirable. Main duties of the job

The post will have a specific focus on Haematology Diagnostics, working closely with biomedical scientists within the Blood Sciences Laboratory. This will be combined with activity in one of HMDS, consultative haematology or thrombosis/anticoagulation.

The post would be invaluable for candidates who wish to develop a specialised interest in these domains prior to, or following completion of Specialist Training in Haematology (UK) or equivalent qualifications worldwide.
