This role is to work as a caseload midwife providing all aspects of maternity care for women and birthing people planning to birth at home.
King's College Hospital offers an opportunity for passionate and dedicated midwives to join our vibrant maternity team on the Denmark Hill site.
Main duties of the job
At King's we have been providing continuity of care in outstanding, supportive caseloading teams for over 20 years. The band 6 midwives in this team have 2-3 on calls per week to cover the home birth service. A model fit for the current and next generation of midwives with a variety of flexible working patterns including short days, part time hours and the option of compressed hours.
We are recruiting midwives with at least one year's experience to join our team. You will become a member of a supportive team caring for women who are planning a home birth. Implement and participate in the development of the Kings College Hospital NHSTrust/Womens Services agreed procedures and policies.3. To follow the Kings College Hospital NHS Trust Fire Regulations, Cardiac Arrest,Major Accident procedures.4.
