Job summary
Foundation Training Programme at the Princess Royal University Hospital (PRUH) Site
The overall aim is to support the Director of Medical Education in the delivery of high quality Medical Education for Foundation Doctors at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust on the PRUH site and to lead the delivery and co-ordination of Foundation teaching and placements to continually improve Foundation Doctors experience at the PRUH site.
To also deputise/support the Director of Medical Education on any other Medical Education work streams as required.
Main duties of the job
- To support the Foundation Programme on the PRUH site.
- Attendance at induction including a welcome address.
- Ensuring good quality teaching programmes for the Foundation Doctors to meet the Foundation Curriculum requirements.
- Support the Foundation Administration team in the allocation of Educational Supervisors and to work closely with the Educational Supervisors.
- Respond to the feedback of the Foundation Doctors during Foundation Forums. Analyse issues that arise and work with the Director of Medical Education as appropriate to resolve and address the issues.
