Job summary
We are seeking to recruit Senior Clinical Fellow in Neonatology to work on the Local Neonatal Unit @ King's, based at Princess Royal University Hospital. The post offers the opportunity to advance the successful candidate's neonatal training and administrative skills in a teaching hospital environment.
The Newborn Unit, supports one of the busiest maternity unit in the country. It has recently got the approval to move up to a level 2 Local Neonatal Unit (LNU). The unit is supported by 24/7 neonatal consultant cover and is closely linked to the level 3 neonatal unit based at Denmark Hill site of King's College Hospital. Currently there are 12 SCBU cots with 550 admissions per annum, which will be moving up to 8 HDU and 8 SCBU cot in the near future. The unit has an international reputation for its research directed by Prof Anne Greenough.
This post is suitable for Paediatric Doctors with level 2/3 neonatal experience and eligibility to work in the UK. MRCPCH is highly desirable. The successful candidate will participate fully in the 7 person neonatal ST4-8 rota which is EWTD 2009 compliant (Band 1A).

Main duties of the job
This post is suitable for candidates with previous Paediatric and neonatal experience in level 2 and 3 neonatal unit interested in gaining advancing their paediatric training and in gaining further Neonatal experience. Please also see table below for essential and desirable criteria. UK NHS experience is desirable.
