An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Apprentice Workforce and Systems Assistant to join our Workforce Information team
If you are interested in starting a career in administration within the NHS, have good verbal and written skills, the ability to prioritise and work under pressure and are a conscientious team worker, then we would like to hear from you.
The apprenticeship is a work-based training programme where you will be able to develop your skills, including English and Maths, and to gain a nationally recognised qualification.
Main duties of the job
- Deal with enquiries from managers, staff and colleagues via email, telephone or letter in a professional and timely manner, working under pressure and adhering to strict deadlines.
- Effective handling of enquiries and requests for information, preparation and distribution of payroll information, maintaining files and documentation
- Work with external payroll officers to ensure that staff are paid accurately and on time and to ensure a consistent approach to working practice.
