Who Our Opportunity is for:

Ward clerk required to work on an Acute Medical Unit.

The successful applicant will be highly motivated and enthusiastic, previous experience of working in an administrative role is desirable but not essential as training will be given.

Youmust be able to work using your own initiative, but also as part of a team. You will have excellent verbal and written skills, and the ability to communicate effectivelywith staff ofall levels.Organisational skills anda keen eye for accuracy and detail areessential for this role.

Please note that this job entails working weekends and night shifts.

Main duties of the job

The post-holder will provide clerical back up to the Urgent Care Division, medical and nursing staff over a wide range of documentary work and computer inputting.

The post-holder will answer the ward/department telephone and deal with enquiries where possible.
