An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our busy midwifery team within the Maternity Team.
This role requires individuals to work as a proactive member of the team and to undertake a range of duties to assist the Clinical Governance Midwife and Multi-Disciplinary Team.
Applicants require a good level of education, be reliable, and committed to supporting delivering excellent maternity care. Basic knowledge of antenatal care and maternity services would be advantageous and recent experience with a variety of IT systems is essential.
Hours per week: 20.5 hours

Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide clerical support to the Clinical Governance Midwife and the Senior Management Team. The post holder will work as an effective member of the team, liaising with midwifery and medical staffing on clerical and information matters within the area of responsibility.
The post holder will liaise with and provide the multidisciplinary team with timely and accurate information required to support and maintain the midwifery workload. The post-holder will use their initiative in organising all workloads to ensure efficient time management.
The post holder will be required to manage a demanding workload, balance multiple competing priorities, demonstrate strong organisational, time-management, and maintain high standards of work.
