An exciting opportunity within the Gynaecology Department has arose. The role involves being fundamental in the tracking of patients through the Colposcopy and Cancer Pathway ensuring timely diagnostics. You will work in a multidisciplinary team and be an effective team player in a fast paced environment.
Working within Gynaecology, this role is to monitor the Colposcopy pathway of patients to ensure timely diagnosis. As a team player you perform a number of key tasks including monitoring numerous IT platforms, data entry and liaising with other departments ensuring appointments are expedited.
You will be working with a friendly committed team, which consists of Consultants, Registrars, Nurses, Cancer Navigator, Support Secretary and Operational Managers.
Hours per week: 37.5

Main duties of the job
The main responsibilities for the role is to co-ordinate and attend specific meetings which will include regular communication with lead clinician and Operational managers.
The role will be to undertake collection and provision of data in line with local requirements.
To take a proactive role in the local collection of national audit data.
Oversee patient tracking of suspected/diagnosed Cancer Pathway to ensure that patients follow pathways and receive diagnostic tests and treatment in a timely manner.
