This post is Fixed Term for 9 Months
Hours per week: 24.5 hours

Main duties of the job
To provide an efficient and effective typing and administration function to the team. The post requires fast and accurate audio typing skills, and a sound knowledge of medical terminology.
Good communication, organisational skills, and previous secretarial experience is essential as is experience of dealing with sensitive information. Knowledge of medical terminology and previous experience using hospital based IT systems such as an Electronic Patient Record system will be advantageous.
