Here in Radiology we are looking for a self motivated individual to assist our Radiology staff in delivering diagnostic services to the local community. We are looking for support during our evening, night and weekend shifts. Day shifts including working at our peripheral sites are also included.
Hours: 37.5
Full time and Part time working will be considered either as days, nights or out-of-hours preferences.

Main duties of the job
Work closely with the Radiographers to contribute towards the effective processes relating to patient flow
Provide support to the Radiographers in the delivery of direct patient care
Demonstrate effective communication skills in assisting patients/relatives and members of the multi-disciplinary team with information regarding the department
Demonstrate effective IT skills in accessing and inputting data relevant to patient flow in Radiology
Assist in the transfer of patients within the Radiology and Emergency departments and to and from wards as required under the direction of the Radiographer in charge of the shift.
Promote patient privacy and dignity at all times
Maintain a tidy and orderly work environment
Ensure that all patient areas are appropriately stocked with basic supplies
To provide a professional standard of communication to all medical, nursing, technical and ancillary staff.
To use the departmental computerised patient information system efficiently and to comply with the Data Protection Act.
Accurate input of patient data into any Trust computer system.
