We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Service Manager within our Community Dental Service here at East Cheshire NHS Trust.
This is a permanent position based in East/Mid Cheshire. You will join an innovative multi-disciplinary team to support the delivery of an excellent Paediatric Exodontia and Special Care dental service.
The Clinical Lead within the service will provide clinical and managerial leadership in support of the Clinical Service Manager and will also inspire, motivate and empowers clinicians within the service in the delivery of excellent patient care and experience.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day operational service planning and delivery of community dentistry across the locality. You will be clinically accountable for the standards of the dental nurses to provide a safe, effective, efficient service.
Our community team is part of East Cheshire NHS Trust but also works closely with Mid Cheshire Hospital as theatre time is scheduled within this hospital also. The post holder will have robust links with all key stakeholders.

Main duties of the job
The Community Dental Service Manager is responsible for the overall performance and effective management of the Community Dental service, in the delivery of Special Care & Paediatric exodontia dentistry. The post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of services to patients in accordance with agreed contractual arrangements, objectives, quality standards and controls, within available resources & budget.
