An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established Directorate operational management team in the delivery of projects, performance standards and day to day services.
Planned Care are committed to supporting aspiring leaders throughout the trust and are looking for an experienced operational manager who can adapt to a challenging and fast-paced environment.
The role will provide an opportunity to work across a diverse range of booking teams and services and the post holder will demonstrate a proactive and agile approach to ensuring the effective delivery of all key access targets.

Main duties of the job
- To be responsible for the planning and delivery of services in conjunction with the Directorate Management Team
- To be a key member of the operational management team, taking full responsibility for actions and for keeping other team members fully informed at all times
- To be responsible for management, coordination, recording and monitoring of independent sector activity.
- To lead and support quality improvement and transformation within operational services by developing, structuring and ensuring delivery of programmes of work.
- To be responsible for a person-centred service that is responsive, flexible and adaptable
- To work closely with key stakeholders including specialty teams, clinicians and support services to develop services and maintain performance standards.
- To provide support to Operational Managers as required
- To attend meetings as required and to deputise for the Operational Teams as appropriate
- To take a proactive role in ensuring systems are in place to support organisational and cultural change initiatives
- To manage specialities within scope of the role as agreed by the Operational Manager.
