A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a well organised and motivated, registered dentist to join the Community Dental Service (CDS), to be based at Church View Dental Clinic, Nantwich, for two days per week. The CDS is an NHS service for patients referred by general dental practitioners. We treat special care and paediatric exodontia patients with the adjunct of inhalation sedation or general anaesthetic as required.
We are a small and friendly service, where everyone in our team counts.
Hours per week - 15 (Monday & Tuesday)

Main duties of the job
To provide a comprehensive range of dental treatment and oral care, using a variety of modalities including local anaesthetic, familiarisation techniques, relaxation techniques and sedation, for special care patients and paediatric exodontia patients, who meet the criteria for acceptance for treatment within our service.
To work flexibly as part of an established team, playing an active role in audit, service development and patient care. To work across clinic locations when required to support patient and service needs.
About us
NHS Medical and Dental salaries are set at a national level. For new starters not already working to UK Medical and Dental terms and conditions of service will be appointed to the minimum paypoint. The starting salary pay point can only be increased when there is evidence of relevant, completed year's experience in terms of nature, type and level of role.
