Job summary
The NHS has embarked upon an ambitious modernisation programme with a key objective to improve its services to patients. This programme is underpinned by Information Technology, including the use of electronic rostering systems to effectively and efficiently deploy the workforce. This post holder will be a key member of the eRostering team and will provide administration and helpdesk support required for the eRostering system.
Hours per week: 24.38
Main duties of the job
The post holder is responsible for front-line support for eRostering system users, maintaining accurate records and organising training as required. They will also be responsible for the day-to-day management of the eRostering system mailbox and incoming phone calls, producing scheduled and ad-hoc reports, assisting with roster rollout activities and ensuring accurate data is entered into the system.
The department are the expert administrators and users in the Trust of the eRostering system and associated modules.
They are responsible for undertaking system configuration to ensure it is fit for purpose for the Trust structure.
They are responsible for the preparation and delivery of training to all levels of the Trust workforce, and providing frontline helpdesk support and advice. The department supports the clinical and corporate teams on the management of the eRostering system to ensure compliance, performing a variety of tasks including creating rosters when required.
