Job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic midwife with a keen interest in postnatal care to join our core postnatal team at Macclesfield Maternity Unit. You will be involved with embedding our high standards of postnatal care including the enhanced recovery pathways for our elective section women and working closely with the breast-feeding midwife to support the implementation of the BFI standards on the ward.

We are looking for enthusiastic and adaptable midwives who have excellent interpersonal and clinical skills, who can work well as part of the multi-disciplinary team

You will become a valued member of an innovative team and will help us to excel further to deliver our Trust objectives and values.

37.5 Hours per week

Full time and part time hours are available

Main duties of the job

A midwife who will provide high standards of clinical care throughout the pregnancy continuum and fulfil the role of an active member of the midwifery team.

Roles will require you to participate in the on-call rota as required in the provision of the 24-hour service
