Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional candidate to join our HR & OD team.

The HR Workforce team has a one-team approach, working together to ensure that the trust's directorates are provided with an efficient and responsive service. The team works flexibly and adopts a hybrid working approach to ensure our colleagues have a work-life balance.

We are looking to recruit a pro-active, forward thinking individual who is interested in driving change and service improvement. You must have an ability to work on your own initiative whilst working to tight deadlines, and coaching, motivational and negotiating skills are essential.

You will support managers to deliver people plan objectives in their areas through regular meetings to include interpretation of HR performance metrics, Policy and information systems. You will also undertake employee relations cases, be responsible for your own portfolio of project work, review policies and undertake audits.

The trust is committed to supporting employees training and development and we will support you through your CIPD qualification, coaching certificate and more.

The requirements of the post are outlined in the attached job description.

Hours per week: 37.5

Main duties of the job

Work as an integral member of the directorate HR team, providing professional, customer focused advice and support to managers and staff across the directorate in the management of workforce issues, including employee relations, engagement and workforce development, health and wellbeing and ED&I. The post holder will use workforce metrics extensively to identify areas of improvement and are expect to dynamically support the Directorates in achieving targets and workforce ambitions.
