We are looking to recruit enthusiastic Health Care Assistants with compassion and a positive attitude to join the Complex Care Team. The focus of the service is to provide high quality care to enable children and young people with complex health needs to live in their own home and enable them to live as full a life as possible.
Successful applicants will have the opportunity to complete the Care Certificate and will have access to the NHS pension scheme and health service discounts.
We have several positions available which will involve shift work including days, nights and weekends. The care packages are across East Cheshire so the ability to travel is essential. This post is subject to Enhanced DBS.

Main duties of the job
The main duties of the job are to provide clinical and personal care for children with a variety of complex health needs in their own homes. We also accompany children into school to support them with clinical needs at school and provide support to enable them to access their education and achieve their full potential. Applicants must have excellent communication skills and be able to work alongside professionals from other disciplines.

- NVQ level 3/ City and Guilds - Health/social care related subject (level 3) - or equivalent experience.
