Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional candidate to join our HR team supporting one of the Trusts Clinical Directorates.

The successful candidate will support managers to deliver people plan objectives in their areas through regular meetings to include interpretation of HR performance metrics, Policy and information systems. The post holder will also undertake employee relations cases, be responsible for their own portfolio of project work and review policies and undertake audits.

The HR Workforce team has a one-team approach, working together to ensure that the trusts directorates are provided with an efficient and responsive service. The team works flexibly and also adopts a hybrid working approach to ensure our colleagues have a good work-life balance.

We are looking to recruit a pro-active, forward thinking individual who is interested in driving change and service improvement. You will be able to manage your own time and workload effectively as well as foster good relationships with key stakeholders.

The successful candidate must meet the essential criteria:

  • CIPD qualification level 5 or evidence of working towards (or equivalent experience)
  • Evidence of continuous learning and development
  • Previous HR experience, including employee relations, resourcing, performance management and diversity
  • Track record in providing credible, high quality advice and services to managers in a multi-disciplinary environment

Hours per Week: 30

Main duties of the job

Work as an integral member of the directorate HR team, providing professional, customer focused advice and support to managers and staff across the directorate in the management of workforce issues, including employee relations, engagement and workforce development, health and wellbeing and ED&I. The post holder will use workforce metrics extensively to identify areas of improvement and are expect to dynamically support the Directorates in achieving targets and workforce ambitions.
