Job summary

Are you a Registered Childrens Nurse who is looking for a challenge?

We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated Childrens Nurse to join our Complex Care Team. The team provides care to children and young people with complex health needs in their own homes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the training and competency assessment of Health Care Assistants to enable the highest quality care provision to children and young people with a range of complex health needs in bespoke packages of care. You will need to demonstrate excellent clinical, interpersonal, communication and decision making skills and have knowledge and experience of working with children and young people requiring tracheostomy management and invasive and non-invasive ventilatory support. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate flexibility to meet the training needs of the service which will include a shift work in the clinical setting and office hours.

Main duties of the job

Work alongside Healthcare Assistants supporting practice, consolidating training and maintaining quality care delivery. Provide clinical training and support for staff from other agencies

Case management of small care packages within the service.

Monitoring and facilitating on going training of all health care assistants
