An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Strategic Planning Officer to join our small and friendly Strategy Team. The role supports delivery of the trusts strategic programme of work, including support to the Finance Directorate. The role will provide an interesting and varied workload and would ideally suit an enthusiastic and adaptable individual. The successful applicant will have extensive opportunities to develop your existing skills as well as learning new transferable skills within a healthcare provider setting, influencing, and delivering real change for the benefit of patients.
This role is Fixed Term for 6 months
Hours per Week: 35

Main duties of the job
Accountable to the Strategic Planning Practitioner the post holder will provide strategic planning facilitation and support for the production and management of a programme of work supporting the key strategic issues.
These will include integrated business plans, clinical service reviews, and the development of alternative service models, provider collaborations, the annual service, workforce and financial plan and appraisal of local and national health and social care policy.
