Job summary
The Business Insight Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the development and implementation of data-driven analytics solutions that enhance operational and clinical decision-making within the healthcare setting. Working under the guidance of the Lead Business Insight Analyst and the Head of Business Insight, this role involves assisting in the integration of diverse data sources and the application of data science techniques to generate actionable insights that align with the Group's strategic and operational objectives.
Main duties of the job
Key responsibilities include contributing to the development and refinement of data models for forecasting, activity planning, and demand vs capacity analysis. The Business Insight Analyst will support the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Group's suite of performance tools, ensuring data accuracy and relevance while identifying trends and patterns that inform critical business decisions.
The role involves close collaboration with various stakeholders, such as operational managers, care group leads, and the wider Information Management team, to translate business requirements into technical solutions. This includes utilising business intelligence tools and statistical methods to extract, analyse, and visualise data, ensuring outputs are structured in a meaningful and accessible manner for end users.
The postholder will ensure compliance with data governance framework, requiring them to uphold data security, regulatory requirements, and patient confidentiality while maintaining data quality standards. The role emphasises professional development, with the Business Insight Analyst expected to stay informed of the latest trends in healthcare analytics, participate in training programs, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
