Job summary
North Lincolnshire and Goole Hospitals NHS trust require a highly motivated Senior Project Manager on a permanent contract to provide a customer focused comprehensive Estates Project Management Service to lead a project management team and deliver the elements of the Trust's Core Capital Programme, and management of the Backlog and Maintenance programme of works along with assisting the Head of Capital Services and Group Deputy Director of Estates Projects to develop and deliver the Estates Strategy
Main duties of the job
The post holder will:
Manage the delivery of allocated projects within the Trust's Capital Programme, ensuring projects are delivered effectively, on time, within budget and to the required standards.
Ensure effective planning, monitoring and reporting on projects including cost, progress, quality and risks
Work with the Head of Capital Services in the delivery of the BLM schemes and the Group Deputy Director of Capital Services
Be responsible for management of a Capital Project Management Team BLM project team.
Support the Trust's capital planning team in the development of future schemes including business
Work with the wider estates maintenance team to ensure projects are delivered compliant with legislation, HTM's, HBN's etc., utilising specialist advice (i.e. AP/AEs) and design consultants.
Work closely with all directorates across the Trust, both clinical and non-clinical to ensure full stakeholder engagement. Providing expert advice and guidance on technical and complex building management issues, identifying solutions to ensure changes are fit for purpose, overcoming any barriers or contentious issues that may arise due to conflicting priorities.
