Job summary

We require a Trust Grade (ST1 level) doctor to join the Paediatrics team on a fixed term basis. There is 1 post available at our Grimsby site, Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital.

There are opportunities to attend departmental teaching and audit and to participate actively. Although this post is not recognised for training, Trust Grade doctors are expected to apply for study leave and attend appropriate courses and budget and allowance is available.

Main duties of the job

All specialties work a full shift rota and you will be well supported by senior colleagues during your tenure with us.o We have excellent library and Post Graduate Education Facilities o Funding and paid time is available for study leaveo There will be a named supervising Consultant and career counselling is availableo Interviews via a system similar to Skype may be available for overseas applicantso This DGH is a friendly place to work and paediatrics is a supportive forward-thinking departmentThe Trust is surrounded by the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside and is within reach of major cities such as Hull, Sheffield, Lincoln and Doncaster. We have excellent road, rail, ferry and air links (there are 2 international airports on our doorstep).You must have full registration with the General Medical Council, hold a Licence to Practise and be eligible to work in the UK.
