Job summary
Are you newly qualified, or due to qualify in 2024? Then we would love to hear from you! We are looking to recruit highly motivated, newly qualified nurses to help us deliver high quality, safe and compassionate care in a variety of specialties.
The trust has a wide range of opportunities for those qualifying in Adult Nursing.
Upon completion of your application you will be invited to attend a Nursing Recruitment Open Day where you'll have the opportunity to meet some of our teams and be interviewed for a position.
Those who attend the Open Day will gain insight into what it's like working at the Trust which runs the hospitals in Scunthorpe, Grimsby and Goole, as well as community services in North Lincolnshire.
You will have the opportunity to meet some of the Senior Nursing team and hear about the experiences of our current newly qualified nurses.
We have opportunities at Grimsby, Scunthorpe and Goole hospitals within all specialities. There are also opportunities to join our Community Nursing Teams in North Lincolnshire.
This year we have a separate advert for rotational nursing posts. Please only make 1 application, if you change your mind we are happy to discuss and support you at the interview stage.
Main duties of the job
You will be supported by the Professional Development Team and ward Clinical Sister or department Clinical Educator during your preceptorship and will work toward completing your competencies. You will join us as a band 2 until you receive your PIN. Once you are registered you will commence your first Band 5 post.
