Job summary

The WebV team have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Software Tester to join us. As a Trainee position, you will be put through a course to become qualified. We are looking for someone who has interest in automated testing, with a strong collaborative focus and a drive for continuous improvement. You will be a key part of the WebV team to deliver quality software for both clinical and administrative applications to improve patient care and safety.

PLEASE NOTE THAT INTERVIEWS WILL BE HELD ON 19 JANUARY 2022

Main duties of the job

  • Be involved in the entire Software Development Lifecycle
  • Quality Assurance testing of the software
  • Aid in the release of defect-free software
  • Work proactively with the team to instil quality into the software and practices
  • Embed modern testing approaches as a part of a team responsibility for quality and innovation
  • Work in an Agile Team environment

  • Previous experience in IT or software support role

  • Web development & programming skills to include HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, VB.
  • Experience of the NHS or a customer caring environment.

  • Experience of working in the JIRA software
