Job summary
University Hospitals of North Midlands is currently unable to provide sponsorship for this role. This is in accordance with UKVI guidelines and legislation, as these roles do not meet the skill nor salary threshold for sponsorship. If you hold a graduate visa, you are welcome to apply for this role however it is important to note that UHNM will be unable to offer sponsorship at the end of your graduate visa, you must also have at least six months until your graduate visa expires at the start of your employment for training and operational reasons.
This role requires the following qualifications and documents to be provided as part of the recruitment and selection process for this role, if you are offered a role and unable to provide these documents, we are afraid the offer will be withdrawn:
- GCSE's or equivalent Certificate for Maths and English, equivalent to current Level 4/ C or level 2 functional skills Maths/English.
- If you have completed your qualifications overseas you must apply or provide a ECCTIS compatibility statement
- Completed Care Certificate
Although it may seem frustrating if you have completed a degree in the UK or other professional qualifications our policy states we must have GCSE's or equivalent as part of the requirements for this role.
Main duties of the job
An opportunity has arisen for a band 3 Nursing Assistant on ward 117/Infectious Diseases. Ward 117 is a 14 bedded Infectious Diseases unit offering inpatient care for a a group of patients with a wide range of infections. It is a small friendly and supportive team with opportunities for development.
