Job summary

University Hospitals of North Midlands is currently unable to provide sponsorship this role. Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-3:30pm

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our progressive Catering Team at County Hospital, Stafford. We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused individual to support our busy retail restaurant, helping us deliver an exceptional service to patients, staff and visitors across the hospital.

Working alongside an experienced and friendly catering team, you will play an important role in ensuring our restaurant and wider catering services operate to a high standard. Main duties of the job

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Catering Service Assistant to join our team at Stafford County Hospital. This full-time position involves working in a busy hospital environment, ensuring that high standards of food service are maintained across various wards and departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting the day-to-day operation of the retail restaurant, including meal service, customer service, and maintaining excellent food presentation standards.

Assisting with the delivery of catering services across the hospital, ensuring patients, staff, and visitors receive a high-quality and professional service.

Helping with basic food preparation, counter presentation, restocking, and ensuring all areas are compliant with NHS food safety, hygiene, and allergen regulations.

Maintaining cleanliness within the kitchen, restaurant, and service areas, including dishwashing and sanitising equipment and surfaces.

Working collaboratively with the wider catering team to support service demands across our onsite catering outlets.
