Senior Therapeutic Radiographer

Job summary

To work for 15 hours / week working with the Practice Educator to produce effective and accurate workbooks that aid in the teaching of learners in department using the VERT system alongside experiencing teaching learners.

For the remaining hours of your current contract (up to 22.5hours) you will work to the scope of your contract. This may mean you will be working at 2 different band levels for each of the roles.

Main duties of the job

To continue work as a member of the Therapeutic Radiography team rotating through all sections of the department, under the supervision of the section leader as per your current contract. To deliver a high quality, accurate radiotherapy service, which is responsive to the social and healthcare needs of the individual patient. To supervise junior staff and students.

In addition for 15 hours you will work with the Practice Educator to produce effective and accurate workbooks that aid in the teaching of learners in department using the VERT system alongside experiencing teaching learners.
