Job summary
University Hospitals of North Midlands is currently unable to provide sponsorship for Band 2 and Band 3 roles. This is in accordance with UKVI guidelines and legislation, as these roles do not meet the skill nor salary threshold for sponsorship. If you hold a graduate visa, you are welcome to apply for this role however it is important to note that UHNM will be unable to offer sponsorship at the end of your graduate visa, you must also have at least six months until your graduate visa expires at the start of your employment for training and operational reasons.
We are looking to recruit motivated and enthusiastic Nursing Assistants to join our dynamic and friendly teams and provide safe and supportive care to patients, relatives and their loved ones. In this post you would be responsible for providing fundamental elements of patient care as directed by the qualified nursing/midwifery team to ensure our patients receive the highest standard of dignified and respectful care, in accordance with their care plans. We are looking for people who are compassionate and feel passionately about providing a level of care they would wish for their family and friends.
Main duties of the job
Successful applicants who fulfil the essential qualifications/skills on the person specification/job description will be offered a Band 3 nursing assistant substantive post.
The job will be based at Royal Stoke Hospital.
As provision of care is a24 hours, 7 days a week career, you will be required to work shifts, including nights, weekends and bank holidays. Enhancements will be paid for unsocial hours.
