Job summary

We are looking to recruit a number of Band 2 Bank Specimen Reception Medical Laboratory Assistants to support the Specimen Reception Service in providing an effective sample reception and distribution for the Pathology Laboratory.

Candidates must be prepared to work flexibly including participation in a shift pattern which includes early, late, weekend, Bank Holiday and other out of hours rotas as required.

Main duties of the job

The post will be based Leighton Hospital or Macclesfield Hospital to be registered on UHNM Pathology Bank. This is a zero hours, bank position to cover as and when required.
