Job summary
We have an unique opportunity to join UHNM as our International Recruitment Advisor in a busy and demanding Resourcing Department.
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and coordination of international recruitment, ensuring adherence to NHS recruitment practices and compliance with Appendix D guidance.
- Provide specialist advice on UK Visa and Immigration Requirements, including the points-based system and English language proficiency tests (IELTS/OET).
- Share feedback and insights to continuously improve the Trust's international recruitment processes.
- Offer expert guidance to hiring managers and recruitment teams on candidate attraction, retention, and regulatory compliance.
- Conduct training and upskilling sessions for recruitment officers and hiring managers to enhance their understanding of managing international workers.
- Research best practices in international recruitment and conduct regular audits to ensure operational excellence.
- Represent the Trust at regional workforce groups and contribute to the development of international recruitment policies.
- Lead on UK immigration and Visa compliance for placed candidates.
- Identify and mitigate emerging risks related to UKVI recruitment activities.
- Manage communication and documentation for international candidates, including working with agencies to ensure compliance with NHS standards.
