We're looking for a newly qualified Dental Technician who graduated in 2024 and who are registered with the General Dental Council.

If you have an interest in Orthodontic and Prosthetic technology and are dedicated, enthusiastic, keen to learn and committed to further development this could be the ideal opportunity for you to join our team

Main duties of the job

To carry out routine dental laboratory work as outlined by Head of Department to include a wide range of orthodontic and dental appliances under supervision. Assist technicians in appropriate duties whenever possible.

To develop technical skills and knowledge associated with dental and orthodontic technology.Successfully attain dental technology practical skills to compliment academic knowledge

You will mainly be based in our laboratory facility at Royal Stoke University Hospital which provides an excellent and stimulating working environment. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team of technicians producing a wide range of appliances and restorations to meet the needs of the department.

As you would expect, you will receive comprehensive in-house training in orthodontic and prosthetic technology. You will be involved in patient cases from model production and diagnostics through to final restorations/appliances.
