Main duties of the job
The post holder will be working with a team of Consultants, Specialty Doctors, Trust Doctors, Specialty Trainees, Core Trainees and Foundation Trainees. Each post has a generic clinical component in the relevant area.
- To participate in the provision of care to patients admitted to the Neurosurgery Wards.
- To assist in ward management including electronic discharges.
- To participate in the management of day to day care of stroke patients
- To assist in the undertaking of full clinical computerised audit within the department. This would be encouraged for desirable candidates.
- To provide on-call cover for emergencies
