Job summary
The post holder will provide an effective administrative service to the Medical Staffing department which will include supporting the Medical Staffing officers and Revalidation team.
As a Medical Staffing Administrator the post holder will be required to work on their own initiate and have the ability to answer the many varied queries without support (advice may be sought from the Medical Staffing Officer / Revalidation Officer and Medical Staffing Manager as and when required) and demonstrate a willingness to help others and be a key member of the team. The post holder will be expected to prioritise work and meet conflicting deadlines in order to meet the requirements of the post.
To offer support to and liaise with the Medical Staffing Manager and Officers in the smooth organisation and management of doctors both before and during their appointments.
To provide cover in the absence of the other Medical Staffing team members including the Medical Staffing Officers and Assistants.

Working within policies, guidelines and statutory requirements to influence decision making through the exchange of information in relation to medical staffing matters.
