An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Programme Management Officer for a Project Support Manager due to the current post holder being on a secondment. This post is for 18 months and will provide a development opportunity with exposure to various projects and programmes. The UHNM Programme Management Office oversee the development, monitoring and implementation of the Trusts annual Cost Improvement Programme and other improvement programmes such as Planned Care, Non-Elective, Community Diagnostic Centre implementation and many other key change projects . Under the direction of the Assistant Programme Manager, the post-holder will provide and co-ordinate an efficient and comprehensive project management support service supporting the development and delivery of various projects. The successful candidate will support project leads across the Trust providing project planning, resourcing, monitoring and delivery against key milestones and key performance objectives.

The successful candidate will have a proactive approach to their work and will have experience of working independently and as part of a busy team. Experience in supporting and managing projects as well as strong organisational and IT skills are an essential part of this role.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a busy, complex and changing environment. They will have a good eye for detail, excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
