Job summary
We are looking for new Consultants to work within Emergency Medicine at UHNM.
The successful candidates will work collaboratively with the substantive Consultant, Middle Grade and Junior Medical teams to deliver a high quality and timely service to the local population. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to shape and contribute to the development of the service. They will also work closely with the current team of consultant colleagues and participate in a 1 in 6 weekend rota.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership within the Emergency Department at UHNM. You will be expected to work with other members of the Emergency Medicine team to provide first class clinical care in Adult and Paediatric Emergency Medicine across both Royal Stoke and County Hospitals. You will provide clinical leadership, including delivery of the Clinical Quality Indicators (CQI) for Emergency Medicine.
