This is a 4 month fixed term contract with rotations to cover :

Trauma & Orthopaedics

Main duties of the job

Summary features of Locum Appointment for Service (LAS) for FY1

  • Wide experience in respected posts - good for the future.
  • Busy but New Deal compliant.
  • Solid Middle Grade in all posts - well supervised.
  • Good experience of team working in all departments with F1 doctors.
  • Protected full day teaching session once per month - good evaluations - all common topics covered.
  • Career evenings once per 12 months. Also opportunity to have experience in other specialties on day release.
  • Good Medical Library with I.T. facilities including word processing.
