Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Staffordshire Children's Hospital @ Royal Stoke for Newly Qualified Children's Nurses across a range of wards/departments within the Directorate.

Main duties of the job

To assess develop, implement and evaluate nursing care needs of children and families/carers within the ward or department in order to provide and maintain a high standard of informed and effective holistic care following a formal period of preceptorship.

To participate and contribute to the teaching requirements of the ward and department.

To contribute to the management of the nursing services by taking charge the clinical area when required on an occasional basis if applicable to that clinical area.
