Job summary

This is a new and exciting role that will be supporting the roll out of the Patients Know Best (PKB) service at UHNM.

The successful candidate will provide high quality and professional administration support for the PKB service whilst this is being implemented at UHNM. Working in an area that is the central contact point for enquiries, complaints and concerns about UHNM.

Successful candidate will predominately be based at County Hospital but cross-site working at Royal Stoke Hospital may be required on occasion

Main duties of the job

Support the Patient Experience Team and PALS Officers in creating a philosophy of enhanced customer service culture to assist University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust to become the "hospital of choice". The Administration Support will have an important role in supporting the provision of an efficient and confidential day-to-day PKB service for patients to the Trust. Investigating and resolving all PKB user queries in a friendly and professional manner.

Act as a positive PKB ambassador, helping patients get the most out of their patient record and promote the use of digital solutions within the NHS and healthcare sector.

Act as a point of contact for patients and members of the public who need support with accessing the PKB application.

Day-to-day contact with patients and members of the public over the telephone, via email or in person, to assist with the identification of their underlying queries, concerns and complaints and enable referral onto a PALS Officer, if necessary with the aim of supporting an early resolution.
