Job summary
Specialised Medicine Directorate Business Support Manager
The Specialised Medicine Management Team are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual who will work closely with the Senior Management team to ensure the delivery of key projects to support the strategic direction of the department.
The Specialised Medicine Directorate is exciting, fast paced and provides a variety of project and operational work across a wide range of services including inpatient, outpatient, and diagnostic areas.
This post requires good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to be adaptable, reliable and approachable. In this role you will need to engage with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure services are developed in line with the direction of the department.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will take a lead role in the development and management of business cases and delivery of key strategic projects as directed by the Senior Management Team.
The successful candidate will support with the day to day running of the directorate and be responsible for managing ongoing projects and deliverables, preparing status reports, and establishing effective communication plans as well as the execution of these plans.
The post holder will need to have proven experience in business management, finance and understand governance and project management. The successful candidate will have the ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload whilst working as part of the management team.
